Paul Pierce scored 19 of his 26 points in the second half while Rajon Rondo put back his missed jumper with 42 seconds remaining to lift Boston over Dallas 96-90 on Thursday. Ray Allen also scored 26 points and James Posey made four free throws, came up with a key steal and provided some tight defence on Dirk Nowitzki in the fourth quarter as Boston ended a seven-game losing streak to Dallas. The things that I pointed out in my previous letter are some of the things I have witnessed myself so there are the "facts" as far as that goes. So where are your facts can you prove that Mr. Mckinney has ever paid for gas out of his own pocket to put into his county vehicle and not only that how about the miles that he would be racking up on the county vehicle while campaigning. As far as the uniform in case you have not noticed Mr. Mckinney does not wear one he wears plain clothes with his badge and gun. Having a member of my family in law enforcement I know that all he has to do is remove his badge and gun and still be presentable. How about instead of making excuses for candidates we accept the facts and not be blind followers as in the past. I would also like to state that as far as mudslinging I have not taken part in any nor will I.

Sometimes I waste away entire afternoons on the Internet. "Sometimes" is every day I have an Internet connection. Facebook is my primary distraction, but because I refuse to add Jetman or Oregon Trail or whatever other crazy apps Zuckerberg allows, I get bored pretty easily. I can only look at pictures and status updates for so long. So in the last few months, I have been forced - ha, forced…like it's been so bad - to browse the Web for some other distractions. My roommates and I were all abroad for the last quarter and in need of an apartment. A friend suggested craigslist, and I was getting desperate enough to try anything. As it turns out, that friend is absolutely brilliant. Not only did we find an apartment, but couches to furnish the place, too! They're not even from I.V., so they're not gross, either.

Aaron Williams' favorite television show is “Heroes," and he almost became one Thursday night. The Reading Railers 6-8 forward miraculously sent the game into overtime, scoring a layup at the buzzer. Within a 30-second span of OT he knocked down a pair of free throws to snap a tie, took a charge, then threw down a slam for a four-point lead with half a minute left in the Railers' Premier Basketball League game against visiting Quad Cities. Finally, with his team down two and just a second remaining, he was fouled going to the hoop and needed to drain two more free throws to fend off a fifth straight defeat. By that point, some three hours into this wild, physical and sometimes bizarre affair against the Riverhawks, the former West Chester star was out of magic. Did you know that U.S. Customs and Border Protection can force passengers to give up full access to electronic files, even seizing them for indefinite periods? "This is an issue that affects anyone who crosses the border," explains Marcia Hofmann, an attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a group that filed a lawsuit to seek clarification on such seizures.
