ViewDate.com Announces World's First Online Speed Dating Service

CUPERTINO, Calif., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- ViewDate, the world's first website to offer online speed dating services, today announced another free invitation-only dating session on its revolutionary website, http://www.viewdate.com

Connie Jinq, ViewDate's founder, started ViewDate after hearing feedback from frustrated friends who had tried traditional speed dates and online dating. With the help of her fiancee and friends, ViewDate was created to address these flaws and make to online dating a more personal, enjoyable experience. ViewDate allows users to see and speak to each other in real time over the Internet, and a full-fledged profile, search and messaging system lets them keep in touch between events.

FLAVOR OF THE WEEK: THE DATE FROM HELL, NEW JERSEY

For KATELYN NUDO, every picture tells a story. Unfortunately, most of them aren't true. By Katelyn Nudo I swore I would never join one of those online dating services. When I did, it was on my mother’s suggestion. I guess she could see from my list of drug dealers, egotistical Italians and Spanish lovers that I needed some help. I don’t know why I ever went against my initial thought of dot-com dating, because when I met Kevin, I knew I was in trouble. When eharmony.com produced a total of zero matches for my personality, I tried Plentyoffish.com. It was free, and it was on the computer monitor in my college library when I sat down. A sign perhaps. I signed up with a false email address and browsed promising boyfriends, one-night stands and future husbands. I must admit, I was surprised at how many good-looking men were desperate in the tri-state area.

Wesley Snipes owed taxes on $38 million (That’s a lot of cheddar)

White men can't jump. Yet, blacks, even muti-millionaire half-actors, don;t pay 'they' taxes. Interesting.

'Ain't no mawfuckin' body gon' tell Wesley Snipe how he live. Wesley Snipes! I'm an actor! I was in Blade; I was a vampire that killed other vampires. Yeah! It's really a movie.. I'm not lying! Kris Kristofferson was in Blade too.

Kris Kristofferson! You know, he was in Pee-Wee's Big Top Adventure. He was the guy that ran the circus? He was married to a fairy. He's a musician or some bullshit in real life! You really don't know who I am? Goddamn.. Fo'real, I'm an actor.'

Hip-Hop Rumors: Green and Jadakiss Clash? 50 Cent's "I...

The Discovery Health channel has pulled the top rated show Plastic Surgery: Before and After which featured Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon that operated on Kanye West's mother Dr. Donda West.

Dr. Adams hosted the popular Plastic Surgery show for five years until last June, but reruns were airing on the network, including four that were supposed to air this week.

Dr. Adams has also been completely removed from Discovery's website as well.

In related news, the Los Angeles County Coroner has said that preliminary results indicate that Dr. West died from either the surgery or the anesthesia, but the results were inconclusive.

Loathing love's day: What's wrong with Feb. 14?

What's not to love about Valentine's Day? Well, how about cultural offensiveness, emotional insensitivity, rampant consumerism, and even encouraging date rape? And those are just a few items from the charge sheet. Setting out to uncover people's objections to Feb. 14 is a bit like opening the door of an overstuffed closet, with just the smallest effort producing an avalanche. A lot of people, and even a few countries, just don't agree with the idea of setting aside a day to commemorate love, romance and relationships.

Of course, it starts with the lonely, or those in unrequited love. Some may have said it better, but none more frankly than poetic songstress Jewel in I Hate Valentine's Day. Full Story

Is Valentine's Day still relevant to you?
